The City That Never Sleeps
I think the only reason why people hold on to their memories so tight is because memories are the only things that don't change when everything else does.

It's been more than a year now, going for two. But I just still can't move on. Dwelling in the past, for it is much sweeter to be in.

title : Happy New Year 2011 !
Wish you all the best in the coming year !
Nothing really special for me though. Had quite an awesome dinner.

Lamb, with green beans and roast pumpkin. Followed by tiramisu and smirnoff. :)

title : Jokes
Was surfing the net when I found this jokes website.

One of these jokes really made me LOL!
A young man was lost wandering in a forest, when he came upon a small house. He knocked on the door and was greeted by an ancient Chinese man with a long, grey beard. "I'm lost," said the man. "Can you put me up for the night?"
"Certainly," the Chinese man said, "but on one condition. If you so much as lay a finger on my daughter, I will inflict upon you the three worst Chinese tortures known to man."
"Ok," said the man, thinking that the daughter must be pretty old as well, and entered the house.
Before dinner, the daughter came down the stairs. She was young, beautiful, and had a fantastic figure. She was obviously attracted to the young man since she couldn't keep her eyes off him during the meal.
Remembering the old man's warning, he ignored her and went up to bed alone. But during the night, he could bear it no longer, and sneaked into her room for a night of passion. He was careful to keep everything quiet so the old man wouldn't hear.
Near dawn he crept back to his room, exhausted, but happy. He woke to feel a pressure on his chest. Opening his eyes he saw a large rock on his chest with a note on it that read, "Chinese Torture 1: Large rock on chest." "Well, that's pretty crappy," he thought. "If that's the best the old man can do then I don't have much to worry about." He picked the boulder up, walked over to the window and threw the boulder out. As he did so he noticed another note on it that read: "Chinese Torture 2: Rock tied to left testicle." In a panic he glanced down and saw the rope that was already getting close to the end. Figuring that a few broken bones was better than castration, he jumped out of the window after the boulder. As he plummeted downward he saw a large sign on the ground that read, "Chinese Torture 3: Right testicle tied to bedpost."

Things are so different now you're gone

title : Farewell

It all started during class BBQ in the park.

She gave him hope, as he tried to make a move. Or at least that’s how he perceived.
She texted him back immediately when he missed her and tried to create a conversation.
She played badminton with him almost every after school.
She would receive a share, whenever he cooked something nice.
She was the one who forbid him from smoking, whenever his peers would offer him a cigarette.
She was the one who forbid him from spending his money lavishly on her.
She was the one whom he would spend most of his time with.
She revolved around him.
She meant the world to him.

There’s a language barrier between them.
He didn’t care, for he believed that he could teach her his language, and maybe, he could learn hers in return.
He was younger.
He was naive.
He was emotional.
He thought a little too much that he couldn’t shut his mind.
He was immature.
He was a conservative.
He had no experience.
He was a hopeless romantic.
He would wake her up in the morning for school.
He would prepare breakfast for her while she prepared herself for school.
He boasted that he’s better than the others, and she believed him.

Here comes the trial.
She asked for a favour which made him reacted with his instinct and not with his brain.
She made him believe that it wasn’t a trial.
She made him believe that it was a glimpse of heaven.
She caught him, red handed.
She was disappointed.
She left.
And that’s how he thought, in the end.

He had choices, alas, he chose the wrong one.
He regretted it.
He was so devastated that he began to consume more alcohol, to help him to move on.
He thought that he had gotten over her, with the aid of some friends.
He had not seen her for weeks.
He had built a strong brick wall around his heart.

However, just the sight of her, for merely one minute, broke that wall into pieces.

And now, she’s gone, maybe forever, without a farewell, without a single word, nothing.
Perhaps, it’s the best for them.
Perhaps, it's better for him.
Perhaps, it's really time to move on.
And now, he has nothing left to say, but
‘I’m going to miss you, your bite, and your smile. Be well, and I wish you to achieve the best things in life, beginning with your entry to university ’

Sincerely,

I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that.
I care for you. still.

I'm sorry that I called you at the wrong time when you're back in your country.

I afraid that I might annoy you if i talk or sms or even just by showing up in front of you.
I resent myself for not chasing after you earlier today, and try to apologize in person.
I fucked up everything. I'm a fucked up person.
I'm over you too. if that's the words you've been looking for. Will you forgive me and be my friend?

Or, perhaps, can i start all over again from the very beginning? Or at least, could you tell me where have i done wrong, that you ignored me at the first place?

Sigh. Everything's just . . . not right today.
Woke up at 9, lunch at 1, then had a nap.
Went to work at 5. However, the fucking bus was late for 25mins, which leaded to missing the train, and late for work.
Fucking bus driver.

At work, hmm... Not bad though, but not so good either.
After work, people, whom I really wanted to talk to, just wasn't there.
People who might make my day a whole lot better.
One's dead tired, and the other one's currently on a plane to Boston. :(

Past few days weren't that good either. Realized how jerk i am; how selfish; how greedy, etc etc.

Let me flash back a little.
Wednesday, was rather okay, until school finished. I got to fillet a whole salmon. :)
Well, there were 2 salmons, for about 8 students. The teacher asked them to give it a go, but no one dared. So, I got to fillet one of those two. :]
Got to eat a container full of pan-fried salmon. It's AWESOME !!! :)
After school, went to C's house, passed her the birthday present that i promised, then left. I was so fucking pissed off, that I said some unnecessary things. Feel bad about it, but, what can i do now? let bygones be bygones.
Went to cut my hair at this korean salon in the city. Recommended by Fransisca.
The hairstylist was a fine young korean lady. She's about my height, with long wavy hair which embellished her elegant face. Kinda good to look at, while waiting for her to cut my hair. q:
So, i told her that I wanted se7en's hairstyle,

However, since my fringe was waaayyy shorter than his, I ended up with very short side and back.

Didn't get to take picture directly after she cut it. In this photo, my hair was already slightly-fucked by the rain water. It was drizzling when I was on my way home.

The haircut was alright, but the service was rather sucked.
No drink, no snack.. :(

Hm. Been playing maplestory in ipod lately. It's AWESOME ! even though not as good as the one in computer.

Anyway, that's all for today.
toodles~

p.s. dear C, I know that you're a quitter, but please be reminded that you've been here for half a year, and if you quit now, you've wasted half-a-year expenses and school fees for nothing, not even a certificate.
