Its my 1st practical day! 1st time wearing chef uniform. 1st time using weird shape knife.
woo! was sooo damn excited.
hm. perhaps i was the only one to feel that way this morning.
Chef told us to be in the kitchen by 730 in uniform and set up all the bench.
So as told, i came down from my room with my uniform. but i was the only one wearing uniform there.
Then a friend of mine told me that we only change into our uniform in the kitchen's changing room.
was abit embarrassed, but screw that!

well, we start things of by learning how to do a precision cut. have to cut carrot into layers of 2mm thickness.
to be frank, i haven't touch knife or even cut raw foods since sec2 during home econs. soo.....
but after failing and waste a carrot. i manage to cut precisely on the second carrot. well its free ingredients though. so, whatever.

Learnt diff way of cutting veges such as jullienne, brunoise, paysanne, macedoine, and i frgt the other one. stupid french names. need to remember those names by hard. =(
the other indo student in my class is a cooking pro. damn. she can cut like a professional chef. she's had her degree of commercial cookery last year and taking pastry now. so my Chef asked her to bake breads for our lunch. It was really uh. . . . luscious?!

Time flies very fast when we're having fun. it's my lunch time and i went home for lunch.
after lunch, i still have lecture til 6. ==
Lecture was totally boring. I kept chewing sweets to keep myself awake. Full with scrumptious filling food, raining, cold, comfortable chair. What a perfect environment for sleeping. :)

Today practical was awesome. but it would be much much better without my ulcer and my sorethroat. sigh.
It's really irritating.
there'll be another practical tmr @ 8am. so. gotta rest and i got a movie to catch on tv.
