The City That Never Sleeps
I think the only reason why people hold on to their memories so tight is because memories are the only things that don't change when everything else does.

Hi there. :D
Again, woke up early, went to the gym for an hour or so.
Took a couple of pix of the gym.

indoor part of the gym.

outdoor part of the gym. :)

Had barista course @ 10a.m.
The coffee school is in chinatown area. I've only been to Chinatown once, so i went there earlier today. Still not familiar with the place, so need to find the place slowly.
When i finally found the coffee school, i realized that the place is in a walking distance as well from the city, so went to the city first to grab a breakfast.

The first part of the session was about making basic coffee and how to use expresso machine. Was really shocked when the trainer mentioned that a good coffee grinder can cost up to 10k AUD and the expresso machine can cost up to 20k AUD. That cost more than a brand new car here.
Hm. learnt how to make different type of coffee step by step. Wasn't really hard afterall. Now i know how TCC made my favourite zesty caramel, from the caramel, coffee, cream until the garnishes. :)

Had my lunch at china town. Charsiew noodle. It was alott, but also cost me almost 10bucks.
I was really excited about the second part of the course. It's all about latte art.

Those are masterpiece. lol.
Thought it's going to be easy. In the contrary, it was the most challenging form of art i've ever tried.
In order to make 'em, we need to process the milk into the perfect form, not too thick nor too watery.
I wasted like 3-5litres of milk in order to get that. lol. Oyah, They have like 20+ machines, prepared 15 bags of coffee beans, at least 150litres of milk in the fridge. LOL.
Took some pix of my art piece, but it's kinda dark in there.

They call this type chasing hearts.

They call this target heart

My favourite, but abit blur. :D
i don't know what they call this.

These are like the basic latte art. Higher level consists of shaking the milk-jug to form the pattern, which was freaking hard!

Finished the course at about 4. It was raining, missed my bus, so in the end had to walk extra mile to get another bus from another bus stop. =__=
Damn tired.
That's all for today. Gotta sleep early. Going for early service church tomorrow.

Nights!
