The City That Never Sleeps
I think the only reason why people hold on to their memories so tight is because memories are the only things that don't change when everything else does.

Bonjour!
Nothing really much @ school. Practical earlier was really a bloody lesson.
Learnt how to fillet a fresh fish. Well, it's supposed to be a fresh fish, but it's kinda impossible to get a fresh fishes early in the morning, unless it's restaurants, so we used frozen fish instead. Learnt it from the very beginning; removing the guts. Damn. The blood flowed down my fingers, squirted to my uniform. My cutting board was covered with blood. The filleting part was rather okay. Skinning the fish was easy. But the worst thing of handling a fish is the smell. I can still smell the freaking fish smell on my hand now, even though I've washed my hands like ten times WITH soap. Now i know why my friends washed their hands with lemon earlier.

For lunch, the Indian students made curry and 'nam' bread *thats what they call it*. While in sg, we call it prata. It tastes nice, however the curry was too.. hm, thick? they added too much potatoes. The rest of the students didn't do much. Just cut vegetables for the curry and for tomorrow.
Cut lots of paprikas and made lots of garlic puree. Even more familiar with my knife hence I can cut much faster now. :D

Then during theory, we did the test of yesterday's chapter, and of course, open book. Pretty easy. :)
Also received this week's recipe. Gonna make lasagna and salad with philadelphia cheese tomorrow.
Chef said that it's going to be one of the best practical day in our 4 terms of cookery. :)

I suppose the salad would look like this
tomatoes, cheese, some other vegies with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Gonna be one interesting practical day!
Alright, I need to do homework 1st (prepare workflow for tomorrow's practical) :)

Bonne nuit!
