The City That Never Sleeps
I think the only reason why people hold on to their memories so tight is because memories are the only things that don't change when everything else does.

Story Bridge
777 meters stretched across brisbane river

Hello world! Long time no blog.
It was such a mundane and boring weekend except saturday night.

thursday - work
friday - slack for the whole day
saturday - work, got lost in china town
today - work in the afternoon then slack again.

So, on saturday, I worked at night. As usual, after work, I strolled to the bus stop and waited for 475 to P.A hospital, which will bring me straight home. And so, the bus came. I didn't pay attention to where the bus was heading, I just saw the number and boarded the bus. Got myself a place to sit and continue reading my novel.

After sometime, I realized that the bus was in some ulu-ulu place and it was empty. So i asked the driver where's he heading. Unfortunately, I boarded a wrong bus. It's 475, but there are 2 different 475. One will go to P.A hospital while the other one will go to the city. And, I boarded the 2nd one.

Fortunately, the bus driver was very kind. He drove me back to Chinatown and directed me to the bus stop where I could get the last bus home. So I followed his instruction. By the time I reached the bus stop he mentioned, the last 475 bus to P.A  hospital just left. FUCK! there are no more bus available at that time. No ferry either. Hence, I was left with walking home. I wasn't familiar with china town, so I ended up lost.

China town was really alive at night. Illuminated by the neon lights from night clubs. Techno tunes. Hulk-like security guards in front of each club checking for ID. It's so damn crowded. SO, after meandering through the aisles in chinatown, I finally found the way to the bridge. I was relieved because my house is not far from the other end of the bridge. Found out that yesterday night, I had walked more than 5km. However, a long walk home wasn't bad at all (if wearing a comfortable pair of shoes; I wore kitchen boots, so I ended up with blisters)

Alright. that's all. :]
