title : Outing
After few days into my solitude, I decided to go out for some fresh air. I went to city yesterday with Fransisca. 1st we went to starbucks, bought my favorite caramel frap, and she bought a tall ice mocca. We sat there, savoring our cakes and coffee, while chatting and laughing at some weirdo-s who passed by us. We were talking ‘bout soju, then she asked me whether I wanted to try it. Of course I want! :D She led the way to a Korean restaurant, which sells soju at a cheaper price. We went there at about 6 p.m. hence it wasn’t crowded, yet. Even though it’s a small restaurant (not mentioning that they only have one waitress, to wait for the whole restaurant), they provided quite a good service. Fransisca ordered a !@$@$%@!#$^$ in Korean language while I ordered a pork bulgogi with rice. !@$@$%@!#$^$ turned out to be a kimchi stew with tuna and rice. It’s really scrumptious especially when we had it with soju. My food arrived 15-20mins later, so while waiting, we had few ‘shots?’ of soju and continued chatting. Oh, I also learned few Korean cultural beliefs for drinking. E.g. the younger has to pour for the older first with two hands. And stuff like that. It’s quite funny. :D Finally, my food had arrived. A normal pork-bulgogi, served on a fine-dining plate. Finished our meals and we moved on to our 2nd soju bottle. We stopped at 2 as I wasn’t used to soju yet. It’s somehow different than other type of alcohol. Anyway, it’s already 10 o’clock, and it’s already past my curfew. So we paid the bill, and left. Planned to send her home 1st, however, as the time passed, I could start feel the magic of the soju. I was rather tipsy. Damn. So I just sent her to ferry station, and then I went home. |
